Three S2000 sitting at a dealer ship lot. One red, one white and one blue. Which one will sell first? The answer- There is no answer. Each color has a 33% chance of being sold first.

IMO GPW is the best looking color on the S, especially with tan/black interior and gold wheels, or red/black interior with red wheels.

The only reason I have Nurburgring/Suzuka blue is because I couldn't find a white AP1 the day I decided to buy an S, and it was an impulse buy that I was in an extreme hurry to complete (while I had my wife in agreement with me). If I ever come across a low-mileage AP1 in GPW I'll have to get my wife back into agreement with me in a hurry

Since when was GPW rare?
Search for-sale S2000's; See how many GPW you find compared to every other color and you'll have your answer.

Better yet, here's something for you (from another thread):

A quick GPW summary:

2000 red interior: 671 out of 9,000
2001 red interior: 440 out of 10,000
2002 red interior: 327 out of 10,000
2003 tan interior: 715 out of 7,800
2004 tan interior: 525 out of 7,500
2005 tan interior: 683 out of 8,900
2006 black interior: 450 out of 5,600
2007 black/red interior: 556 out of 4,900
2008 red interior: 177 out of 2,600
2009 red interior: 41 out of 355
Neat. I fall into that group! GPW LOVE

When BMW offered the Z8 in the US, only 12 people chose Stratus Grey w/ Red...now one of our clients has an even more rare car than the 1300 Silver/Black cars produced. 13 years later, we offered to buy it at MSRP ($135k). He didn't accept the offer.

The lines of the car are lost in white. The car is far more 'edgy' in every other color.

The really true sports will buy something flashy- red, blue, yellow. The more mundane white, silver, black are for us guys who would prefer to be a little less extroverted and less noticed. Personally, when in my Sebring, I hide behind smoked windows and sunglasses.
