its messed up, i took the average of the scores in each category (for the Z i divided by 4, not 5, even though their is no rating on safety), and the s2000 had...
A HIGHER AVERAGE SCORE!!!!! and it was by a good amount.
i didn't even bother with the miata, since my suspicions were confirmed. the truth is the s2000 is the best car in the category, but mainstream media once again comes through with the misleading articles that are journalistic toilet paper.

It is interesting that the S2000 scored better overall in the 5 ranked categories than the Miata yet earned an overall lower rank. I just don't get it.
