UPS damaged my new diff...what should I do?

They're picking it up, interestingly enough. I completely expected someone to come and have a look at it in my home instead.

Yes they did ... they picked it up yesterday. The inspector is in Atlanta so I hope we'll hear from them soon.

Two years ago during the winter a UPS driver backed into my driveway and just knocked the basketball hoop over with the truck. They took care of it and I got $600 for it.

UPS has denied the claim due to "inadequate packaging". Apparently their policy is to return the package back to the sender. I now have the diff and the packaging it was in is f*****-up! There isn't a portion on the packaging which isn't crumpeled. Obviously the UPS people dropped it more than once.

What do you guys recommend as a solution to this problem?
