I got a decent Progressive quote and went with it. It's cheaper than I was paying with Geico, but not as cheap as I think I can get. In 6 months I'll re-assess...I just need insurance for now.

There is no way to get insurance for modern car that is modified, that's what I learned, so that is now not an issue any more. The insurance I got, is normal insurance. I will have to wait 6 months to try to get cheaper insurance. The fact that I had the car uninsured for over 30 days played a big factor in getting decent insurance.
