I'm not sure if this recall applies to all s2k's or just the older ones. Mine's a 2000 model and when the dealer showed me the list of all cars they were expecting in for this recall, there was nearly a full A4 page of other S2000's on the list, under the same dealer. I've only ever seen about 7 cars in this area in the last year and I can't believe they are all older models.

In middle of 02' model year production Honda switched the oil bolts. So, 00', 01' and early built 02's all have old style oil bolts with two holes.

To my knowledge, Cerebus, we don't know exactly when Honda phased in the new banjo bolts. I believe it was probably mid-summer '02, but I'm surely not certain about that. I recall reading somewhere that European-bound Ss were being "quarantined" off the shipping docks and getting the bolts installed.

When Ronald posted the Dutch version of his letter, I don't think there was a specific range of VINs affected. If AHM ever does anything about this in the USofA (I'm afraid I'm losing faith ), we'll get explicit VIN ranges, just like we've seen on prior TSBs.
