I should mention that my car is a '02 model, but I believe the spare tire compartment should be unchanged in the '04 model.

Is your seat pushed all the way back? I found that with the passenger seat all the way back, the plastic section behind the headrest would rub against the roll hoop.

I had the same problem. Make sure that the seat is not all the way back. My problem was where the seat was rubbling against the back.

Hmm interesting idea about the seat being all the way back. On my way home from work later I'm going to move the seat forward to check.

Same problem here, i had a ratle for a week couldnt figure it out coming from the passenger seat. I moved the seat up and it was gone.
