Unusual Rattle...
I have this annoying rattle somewhere in the passenger seat area. I thought at first it might be the seatbelts, but it's not. It happens on bumpy roads only and I'm having a hell of a hard time identifying where exactly it's coming from. It's either the passenger seat or the windscreen or secret compartment. Anyone else have this?

Might possibly be the nut that holds the spare tire in place? I'd check that out first...my car had a rattle on bumpy roads that sounded like it was coming from behind the passenger seat, and it was because that nut was loose.

It's probably the passenger seat. Does the sound go away when you're driving with a passenger? More of a dull rattle than a creak right? When a passenger sits in the seat, it holds the seat down preventing any rattling. My car does this.

Yeah I checked that it's not. I grabbed the belt and held onto it and I still heard the rattle.

Try banging the back cushion with your fist and see if it makes the same noise. I think the "teeth" which adjusts the seatback tilt are probably too large perhaps, I dunno.

Not yet. I'll check that at home. Which nut in particular? I haven't even opened the cover that hides the spare tire. Is it some big single nut that holds it?
