About two weeks ago I went to Newport, Rhode Island with my girlfriend. I had my car for about three days and we went for a ride and stopped by a local watering hole to meet some friends. After leaving the bar I was anticipating the ride home with a large smile on my face. As I was getting ready to leave I noticed three people walking by me saying something hen all I heard was SMASH!! I got that sinking feeling and inspected the back of my car to notice the three fleeing hooligans threw a full bottle of Budweiser at me. Leaving a respectable dent right under the brake light, needless to say I was furious. The damage is estimated at around $275 but It is the spontaneous act of spitefulness that gets me most.
On a side note I have 2600 miles in three weeks, I really need help to stop driving so much but there is nothing I can do.

 

JEALOUSY. Case closed. Sucks to be on the recieving end, but atleast the damage was minimal.

 

Man, sorry to hear that. People have no respect for anything these days, whether it be for a person's property, feelings, saftey or all of the above. It makes me sad that we live in such a spiteful world.

 

That just sucks. I hate people like that. Guess you didn't have the cahnce to go after them.... but then it would've been 3 against 1 and that's not very good odds.

 

you might want to invest in a car cover.

 

This kind of crap makes me want to get my concealed carry permit. As if they would let people in California get one.

You should watch the New England Section of this board under "Clubs" and try to meet up with us at one of our upcoming meets. I live about 15 minutes from Shrewsbury and there are folks on here from Natick, Worcester, and surrounding towns.
