Uh-oh
Hey!
Enjoying the heck out of my new S2k, but I have a problem.Every so often, when I get on it a bit, ( in first or second gear ) it will start accelerating hard, and then hit what SEEMS to be the rev limiter, although at only about 3 or 4,000 rpms. If I shift into the next gear, I'll be ok though. Anyone else experience something like this? It's happened three or four times already, and it's kind of scary. I bought the car used w/ 5,000 miles on it, from a private individual. Any thoughts? Thanks

woa- you don't warm- up your car, do you?
when the engine's not warmed- up enough,
the car does that to prevent engine premature/ damage.
after starting the engine, give the car at least 2 min. to get ready before you move it-

Ok, you guys are right. Every time this has happened, it's been when the car wasn't very warm. Sorry, but I didn't get the users guide with the car, I'll have to order one. Need a car cover as well. Thanks for the help!

Salesman steal them out of the used cars to give to returning customer and ones that specifically ask for one. Old trick of the trade. Make the customer feel like he's getting something for nothing!
