are u aware there is TSB for the top cover?
Was checking the TSBs and the wonderful folks that run the site have added a new one...for the convertible top cover.
I haven't read the whole thing, but looks like it might be doable yourself. Shows how to determine if the top isn't going down far enough in the compartment - if the measurement you make is more than 2 inches it needs adjustment. Mine is at 3 inches! No wonder the damn cover keeps popping up
