No, I like it too. I think it might look really cool if the entire interior was also red (dash, hoops, etc.).

The color combo was somewhat inspired by another Honda:

The S looks beautiful as is. Donate the money to charity (Red Cross, Big Brothers, SPCA, etc.). In the words of a person much wiser than I, "sometimes less is more."

The S2K really doesn't have a body line that you can use to create a solid two tone.

I like the one where the color is confined to the top of the car, but it has a few issues.
-- first is that you won't see any of the color changes when just looking at the car from a normal level. it isn't going to show up from the side.
-- second is that when you get to the trunk, you are going to have a color change running along the trunk but it is going to end when you get to the rear bumper, and front bumper at the edge of the hood.

For those who were asking "what would chip foose do?"

I think that the lines would be something along those lines, but it would flow into the sides as well. The color change that would come off of the hood and trunk would probably extend down from the back side of the front fenders and flow into the doors in a solid line or basic graphic. The color change would probably be in a darker grey, something like a silver base coat overlayed by a candied grey or black to really give it depth and color. I would imagine the accent pinstripe would be either a bright blue or green or orange rather than red.

Think of what he did on the 05 mustang mixed with a NISMO or MUGEN stripe down the tops of the doors extending to the rear quarter panel.

I wish my photoshop skills were up to the task of giving a visual representation of that idea.

I would like to see the body in a solid dark blue,on top i would like to see a light silver, please. I've been playing around with doing a two tone on the S but I wanted it do go on the side body line but it did not look good. I think this is the best option for a two tone s2000. (not the colors I'm wanting to see, just the two tone Idea.)

This one looks nice. Any lighter and you would be hardly able to tell it was a different shade. This shade makes just noticable and the red pinstripe separates it very nicely by playing off of the interior color. Technically, you're only adding one color to the mix, the darker grey. That makes for a simple design that isn't too busy or complicated with various colors. I could see Foose doing something just like this.

I've seen a Sebring with Silverstone hood, hardtop, trunk, and wheels. Looked pretty bad IMO. No offense intended, if that person is reading this

I Heart My DB8 - I am sorry but I do not have the software to do what u have done with the different options. Could u please make one with dark charcoal (Black is too dark and the carcaol was to light) and continue the color on down the front to the bottom of the bumper? Same angles but not stopping @ the logo. Also I was thinking about either red and black pin striping seperating the 2 colors. The right side of the car next to the hood needs filled also. Thanks alot for your art work. Can u do it on my car? I may or may not use the cf hood pictured of go back to my OEM Hood.
