Default Truth About Replica Aero Parts... Answers?

I know the majoirty will post saying don't go cheap on the S2000, buy the real kit, enough said.

But my question is directed to those who have bought replica kits made of FRP Fiberglass material, painted and installed them. How do they perform? any issues? Let me know, I'm sure many others are wondering the same thing I'm thinking. TIA

P.S. post where you bought your kit too, thanks.

They perform just as good as the authentic pieces. Some even fit better, and some fit worse. But I've bought two AMUSE style lips, One FPR and Urethane and they fit and were great. With paint, still cost less then an athentic piece unpainted.

good luck,
my fit isn't great but I'm not so sure I would go with a different product, with the height of my car the poly amuse lip i have takes a beating, cf or fiberglass would be torn to shreds by now...

My experience with a replica AW sides was enough for me never to buy them again. It would have cost me more to prep, paint and fit the fake side skirt. Than to buy a real one and paint it. I sold the replica for what I bought it for and bought the real deal.
