You are absolutely correct. I used the term "Drizzles" as I heard other S owners who seemed to be pretty knowledgeable about tires, use it. I just coped them.

The tires that are about to be replaced (with summer Pilots) are indeed the DZ101. It what the previous owner installed. I have put 11K miles on it since. Fronts will last a little more. $495 out the door at California Costco. ($212/tire)

In dry, warm weather I thought the Dunlops handled pretty well, but I don't have too much to compare it to.

All the RWD cars very easily to skid during turn on wet road..
No matter what tires you have and if you step on the gas while turning the car will skid..

Um, so will equally powerful fwd cars with similar tires in similar conditions. The difference is a rwd will tend to oversteer when it skids such, while a fwd will understeer. But they can both 'skid'.

Mostly its tires, VSA does wonders too. I drive 80mph if its sunny or heavy raining and never skidded
