I'm pretty sure I got about 6K miles per set of rears while still on stock rollers with no turbo. The outside was in good shape but the inside was shot due to negative camber and my aggressive driving style. I have this infatuation with hanging the rear out in corners which seems to have a pretty negative effect on tire life.

Half bald?

I thought that only lowered cars get uneven tire wear. Are you guys getting uneven tire wear with the stock suspension? If so, if there a setting to put the suspension on that would creat 100% even wear? Also, would this setting creat more understeer or oversteer? Do the fronts have the same uneven wear characteristic as well? Thanks!

I'm on my third set of tires. The first two sets I got 15,000mi each. Front and rear were equally worn. Those 15,000mi included autocrosses, DEs, and a few trips to Austin.

Most of these (S2's) appear to be coming with a fairly high degree of negative camber in the rear... that's why the uneven wear. It's a trade-off... with the negative camber comes improved handling. However, with this being said... most probably don't push this car anywhere near it's limit and changing the camber would probably not affect most people except for extending their tire life.

Just changed my rear S-02's at 18,000 miles and now have S-03's. So far so good...

Got 8K on my first pair of rear s-02s, had 8K and some tread left (maybe 10%) on my kumho 712s I replaced them with. The front s02s were about 90% gone at 16K.
All of mine have worn worse on the inside half, especially the rears.
I went with kumho 712s all the way around when I changed to 17"s, so far looks like it's gonna be about the same.
and yeah, I drive it pretty hard. I don't smoke 'em at every light, but I do corner hard and often.

So there's my 10 tires worth of input

11,500, just replaced rear...they were really bad in the center.

Fronts seem good, however, I am not sure they will get me to 23K, when I expect to have to replace the rears again.

Tire wear seems pretty good to me compared to sportbike tires. I usually see belt by 6500 on Bridgestone BT56SS

Replaced rears at 15K. fronts still in good shape.

Does anybody rotate side to side to even tread wear?

I know this would involve remount and balance but it might squeeze another couple of thousand miles for 30 bucks.

5800 mi, 3 1/2 day track events and quite a few oversteering corners.... very little tread left on the rears. I hope to make it to 8000 mi, but will definitely avoid driving in any rain.

Fronts should last twice that...although the shoulder of the left front is scrubbed bald.

~7000 miles or so. About 6000 of that is freeway driving the rest hard street/track driving. I could visably see the damage to my tires after going on the julian run
