My brother and I pulled up to a dealership a few weekends ago in my S and told the guy I wanted to test drive his Boxster. Once he informed me that it wasn't an boxster S I told him not to worry but then he convinced me to take his newly run in TT roadster.
So my brother and I took it for a cruise and he was keen for me to give him feedback in comparison to my S.
I think I disappointed him quite a bit because he thought that I'd like it better than my S but it wasnt in the same street imo.
He was happy to hear it but and told me that if he got a Boxster S in that hed give me a call.

BTW im 21 my brother is 22 I was wearing a singlet and thongs and was severely hung over from the night before so I was a little surprised to say the least.

The guy that owned my S prev to me didnt even want to sell it to me let alone test drive it when I told him over the phone that I was only 21. To me that was a good sign that he loved the car as much as I do now.

My guess is that the "young woman in her 20s" driving Fstones possible new car was a dealership employee or her dad worked there or something, since she was alone. Maybe she was on a McDonald's run or picking up something for the dealership? Obviously she didn't care about "taking care" of that new car. I can speak from a little experience because we used to do this at a Honda dealer I worked for a few years ago. It happens. Check that car out carefully if you buy it...however I don't necessarily thing a redline or two will damage the S for life. Not good for a new engine, but they are tough little cars as we all know.

I am 18 now, but when I was 17 my dad and I took an s2k out on a test drive, me driving. They even said I could take it out as long as I want withen reason. He kinda hinted no more then 15 min or so, I was back in no longer then 10 minutes. This was a used s2k from a volvo dealership. I was also able to drive a new s2k from los gatos honda, but I had to go out with the dealer and not my dad. Did I mention I did not even have my licence for both of those test drives? Only permit. I have now had my licence over a year and no one will let me drive one....

Let the dealer know what you saw and ask for a different (non-abused) Spa.
