Default transmission problems

I have a 2000 s2k and it is popping out of fourth gear, into neutral, when i'm going 40 mph. I have 13000 miles and it started probably 5000 miles earlier. But the first time I took it in to the dealer they could not reproduce the problem, so of course it didn't exist. Finally, one of the service people got it to pop out of gear, so they are replacing the transmission.
Anyone else have this problem? I've read about the grinding and the clunking notices with the clutch, but I haven't had those problems.
My back window is very cloudy and the dealer said it is my fault for not caring for it properly! I just read about the plexus and i'll try that.
My driver's side window also doesn't go down all the way. This must be a fairly common problem, too.
Any ideas or info would be greatly appreciated!

The fourth gear problem is not rare, a number of us have it in varying degrees.. I cannot reproduce it easy enough to make a case with the dealer. They should fix the drivers window, and even the rear window if it won

I am on my third transmission at 4400 miles. The first two slipped out of 4th at the very outset but this one feels totally different and so far so good after about 1000 miles driving with it. There is apparently a sub contractor that did something wrong to cause a defect in 19 or so so far.

Have Honda replace it till you get a good one

I've only had my S2000 for a couple of months, but it has popped out of second gear about three times. It always happens under hard acceleration. It will stay in for a little while (maybe 1/4 of the way through the tach) then suddenly pop out. I keep hearing about popping out of fourth gear problems, but haven't heard anyone else popping out of second. I'm not sure if I should complain to my dealership - I'm not sure I would want them to mess with the transmission over an occasional nuisance. Any suggestions/input from others?

I went in to the dealer to talk about fourth gear this morning since it is slipping out of gear more frequently. Gave them a detailed description of the symptoms and conditions it occurs.

I guessed they called the tech line because they declined to spend the time to reproduce it. They have ordered third and fourth gears and a shift fork that is supposed to solve the problem.

I have worked with this dealership for two years and they continue to provide good service. They realized that my

For the back window, if the Plexus doesn't get it clean, you might want to use the Meguiar's cleaners. I had to use them to get my window clean first. Plexus is good for maintenance ofthe window once it's clean, but if it gets too dirty or too scratched, you gotta use some cleaner/polish system (Meguiar's or 3M).

I've had the problem with second gear as well. Mine has 5300 miles on it, and the problem comes and goes. When the problem does occur, it will happen three or four times straight, then disappear for a month. I'll wait until it becomes more frequent.
