transmission oil

Nope DO NOT use 75W90 gear oil in the transmission. You should use nothing else than Honda MTF.
Some people have success with GM Synchromech but thats because some have experienced abnormal grinding or hard to shift conditions. Use Honda MTF if your transmission is working with no issues.

Gear oil is for the diff. not the transmission. If your going to swap the tranny flui,d then go with GM Syncromesh FM. I swapped to it today and love it to death. My tranny didn't grind before, but I had some notchiness and now it is completely gone.
