I pled guilty and then the judge asked me if I wanted to say anything, heres how it went, paraphrased:
Me: I didnt use the turn signals cuz no car or pedestrian was around. I am sorry, I learned my lesson and will always use it regardless from now on. The turn signal is an indicator to other cars/pedestrians where I am turning and since no one was around I didn't use it.
Cop: I was around, he didn't use his turn signal 3 times in a row
Judge: Was there anyone near the vicinity where his not using the turn signal affected anyone, or was anyone else near the vicinity?
Cop: I don't recall
Judge: Doesnt the law state that someone has to be near the vicinity where the use of a turn signal affects traffic/pedestrian blah blah blah?
Cop: Yes
Judge: You are free to go!
By the way, 2 other people went before me that got a ticket from this guy. Both were Asian, I am Asian, hmmmmm....

sweet! Good News! I have been written on 21 Traffic charges since I was 16. Yes, 21. I have only been convicted of 10 of them over the course of those eleven years. I ALWAYS go to court. And I ALWAYS plead "not guilty". Going to court is a right, everyone should treat it that way.
