Default Touching up paint and Zaino?

Hey all, quick question...I've got a knick and am going to touch it up with a dab of touch up paint. It's near the bottom of the car just behind the front wheel so it's not very noticable. My question is that I have multiple coats of zaino on the car, is there anything I need to do to get rid of the zaino in that area so the paints adheres, or will it be good if I just put the paint on right over the zaino? I've had the knick a while and just zainoed right over it, but now I have some touch up paint and want to touch it up. Please help...Thanks....

Use Liquid Dawn soap, it will completely and safely remove Zaino or any kind of wax on your paint. But make sure you let the chip dry off completely before you seal it with touch up paint.

Dawn won't cut through Zaino. You need to use isopropyl alcohol.

Zaino recommends Dawn as the soap to remove all wax buildup.

Look at tip # 3

Yes, Dawn is great for removing WAX and other surface preparations, but it won't cut Zaino. (This is based on statements to that effect by Homer2 and STreece - a couple of Zaino distributors on this board). I have noticed that rubbing alcohol is pretty much the only way to clean the mixing bottles properly.
