260HP just by boring 4mm more on a stock engine? pretty impressive and definitely leaning more towards the S2K than the RX7.

what program would it be best to tune the S2K. a friend of mine mentioned something about chrome and another about hondata.. i know hondata is the best of the best for honda ( i might be wrong) but has anyone tried something inexpensive and has had good results?

If you get an S and stay NA be prepared to spend a good bit of Schrutebucks to see major gains in HP/TQ.
But what is that in Stanley-nickels?

If money is no problem, why not start with an NSX and start modding from there?

NSX is TOO much money bro.. i said money is no problem but i am not rich.

ok lets say i get a V-AFC and tune the a/f ratio and vtec to crack sooner.. can i get a custom map done to my ecu? if i could. what tune program would it be best.

the first thing i am doing right after i get the s2k is get a v-afc. and i would most deff like to tune it.

i still have the suby mind on me.. everything is tuning on that car. no tune ur crap

thanks craig for the help. I know 400HP sound a little unrealistic. not impossible but extremely hard. I will most deff go with the 03 year. i like the 9k redline. as far as goal it will be a track car, i dont like drag (no bad feel towrds drag racers) or maybe drift. i know that if i choose drift alot of suspension work is going to be used. Cusco is one of my flow sponsors so they could help me out.

i really have this idea of having a N/A powerfull car. if you want an example on how powerfull, enough to beat a mildly modded STi or Evo. i see S2K doing some damage on the freeways sometimes, thas why i am really considering one.

if i do get an s2k what you do think would be best as first mods. powerwise.
You know, it really depends on (exactly) what you want to do with the car. Is it going to be a dual purpose car (ie: also driven on the street)? If you get serious about drifting the car you'll want nothing less than a turbocharger to go with the suspension and other mods. If you're building a serious track car you probably want to look at the class rules you'll have to follow. The S2000 makes a good track car, but it's not the best platform for building a seirous drift car. I'm sorry but without understanding your goals better I don't think I can be much help. If you can nail down what you'll be doing with the car a little better I might be able to make some suggestions, but at this point all I can say for sure is that if I were thinking of serious drifting I wouldn't start with an S2000. I play at drifting a little with my S, and my company has a drift team, so I have some experience and know of what I speak.

I think if you drive the Suby and the S2000 both, back to back, the choice will be obvious. My advice would be this. Drive them both, and if the S2000 doesn't totally convince you that it's all right and the Suby is totally wrong, then buy the Suby. If you have any doubts, buy the Suby. The two cars are so different that I think a drive will make the decision for you.
