Torn Top Value Reduction?

Torn Top Value Reduction?
I was wondering how much a torn top that was repaired well would reduce the value of the car. Not that I'm planning on selling the S anytime soon but until I tore the top, the car was perfect, an 08 NFR with only 15k miles on it.
It was and still will be a garage queen and I seldom drive it with the top up but now the top is damaged, it eats at me! I know it would be foolish to replace a top that is only in the up position while parked and covered. But when the time comes to sell, what would you folks do? Repair the top before selling or reduce the price by ???? amount and sell it?

I bought my car with a torn top. It had tears at the usual places, but it was patched.
I negotiated the price excluding the top first. I then treated the top as a "comestic" defect, but needed to be replaced and negotiated with the seller for a good fraction of what it would cost to repair it. We arrived at $1000 off that price. YMMV.
Keep in mind a new top costs around $500-600 and labor is roughly the same for a total of $1200-1300.
After buying it, I had planned on getting a new top ASAP, but I have been driving top down most of the time. The only times the top goes up is when I get caught in rain. I ended up reinforcing the patches last year and it has held up well. I also garage the car and put a cockpit cover on to minimize the number of activations which has prolonged the life of the top. Not in any hurry to get the top replaced now ...
If I was in your shoes, I wouldn't fret on it. Enjoy the car.

I have a small tear in mine, doesnt really bother me. I had a pro make a nice patch for me for $20 and its been great. You can barely see it since he used black silicone to fill in the crack. Since its such a common thing I dont expect price reduction on a car. I bought it like that didnt really bother me that much, I got a great offer from a guy to purchase my car and he also didnt care....said my car was in better condition then one with 20-25k less miles.
