Default Torn Soft Top

Yesterday I dropped the top for the first time in about 4 months. The top didn't quite go down all the way so I just pushed it down the rest of the way, and then I heard it rip. AHHHHH!!!! The latch caught the fabric and ripped it. Where can I find a new top? Is there any way of repairing a torn top? How much is this going to cost me? Does anyone know somebody who's selling parts due to a wreck or something like that?

PLEASE HELP!!!

You now have an excuse to get a glass rear window.

I have a hard top. Unfortunately I trying to sell the S , and I don't think I will be able to get as much for it without the soft top. What do you think? How much does a new top (glass or plastic) cost?

On the hand, if it is a small tear in a nonconspicuous place, repair it. Since you have a hard top, the soft top will be down anyhow.

Contact Honda if you are still under warranty. Tell them you've got a problem with a defect in the top (they'll act like they've never heard of this problem). Persistance pays off. I had the same problem (well, i didn't push the top down to make a hole, it just happened slowly over time). Honda refused my warranty claim. So I called customer service and they eventually approved it and now I'm waiting on my new top to arrive. Free is a lot better than $800 or so plus labor (around 10 hours or so). It's worth a shot before you lay down all that scratch.
