Topdown Fail
#22
When I went to Cali to visit my girlfriend I borrowed her eclipse spyder convertible while she was at work one day. I missed my S a ton and wanted to drive top down so I decided to drop the top. Little did I know she had stacks of homework including a 12 page English paper she was working on in the back seat. When I hit about 55 it all flew out the back all over the freeway. I ended up sleeping on the couch that night.

120 I was trying to do him a favor by not including it in my quote

120 KPH is a normal highway speed...
I consider anything not weighted down, wedged into something, or stored away expendable once the top goes down. Fortunately only receipts and maybe a gum wrapper have escaped. The wife said no to taking the cat out for a cruise

It's not like he said he was on the highway. Prolly on a private track in mexico.
I haven't lose anything in this car, I'm pretty good about checking for anything loose before I drop the top. In my old car with just the windows down I lost stuff all the time though.

nothing but i've only had the car for 3 months. the rule is anything that is not part of the car goes in my pocket or trunk when the top is down. i have almost lost a hat but that's because i have a weird-ass shaped head.

The missus prolly lost 2 degrees of body temperature today with the top down in England. Hood had to go up at some lights not far from home, just before the rains descended, much to the amusement of some guys in a van.

My passenger flew out and was blown over the rail as I was descending some steep switchbacks. Fortunately, I accelerated around the next switchback and timed it perfectly to catch her in the passenger seat again on the next level down.

i usually lose receipts. a hat was a close call for me. i almost lost money on my friend after he stopped at the bank to pull money out of the atm. he asked for a gear pull, so i gave him one and a 20 goes flying. luckily i was able to turn around and find it

I would have kept it & told him that was the cost of VTAK, yo.
