some guy in hernando county suddenly posted a set of blue seats ( like mine) on ebay the day after mine were stolen.
the auction abruptly ended when some one on this forum tried to track him down. I reported it the the police - fwiw.

I wonder if our seats are stolen more than any other

i would talk to the insurance company and see if they will issue a check to you. you can pick up seats on the forum for much less and have $$ left over.
if someone slashed my top... i wouldn't mind if insurance totaled it out as i plan on keeping mine for ever and turning it into a track car because most insurance companies will let you purchase it back for much less than what it is worth.

what's weird is that I just sold mine and didn't get shit for them so why are these stolen all the time? I am thinking that my after market seats mite get stolen but mine sites in a garage most of it's life as I don't daily drive it.

Best of luck, and look into some seat locks. They won't save you from the damaged top or other damage from anger, but at least the bad guys won't get what they want.
Hmm... This brings up a question, has anyone made a small window sticker for the Kokodan (sp?) seat locks? I'm thinking something similar to the Viper Protected stickers so that would be thieves would have warning that they won't be able to steal the seats and therefore they might pass right by the car. Or actually I guess it might be better to just say "Seat Locks" with no brand so they don't go ordering sets of their own (though I think Kokodan requires some kind of proof...)

I'm thinking about buying a place down in florida now, parking my car outside around this location, sleeping during the day and waiting up at night staring out a window holding my shotgun.
I'm sick of hearing this. Justice needs to be served.
