you're referring to the actual shipping cost, i'm adding customs brokerage fees, bond fees, import duty, and all kind of little fees charged by the airlines and the shipping agent. BAX makes more money on the customs brokerage portion than anything else
Nopes
Door to Door is all included
plus i bought a yearly bond for about $500 for unlimited clearance per year!

Very informative post, Mingster... It's not cheap or easy to legitimately import products from Japan. If someone were to try and make money doing Gray market importing of parts, these costs would surely make it very tough to turn a profit. What's more, waiting 3 months for the parts doesn't sound appealing to me, when you could order them from someone who stocks the parts.

Of course, in the case of this bumper that's not possible as no-one carries them in the USA. But with other parts (and I'm not just talking about Mugen, you vultures) consumers have a choice to buy the products from an established business that has the ability to have the parts in stock... I'd gladly pay a little more to have the part in a few days rather than a few months.

Thanks for posting this Mingster, and keep up the good work... It's good to see someone taking the high road when it comes to doing business!
