Default Top Down: Boot Cover or not?

Yeah, the boot looks great when installed.....but it flaps around a bit on the hiway...and if i wanna lock up the car at the mall or something, I'm not liking the extra time it takes to take the boot off, then put up the roof.

The manual says it keeps dust n crap out of the mechanism....opinions?

The cover is useless. Honda should have designed it better to cover like the Boxster or Z4. They should make have in integrated cover imo.

I have only used it a few times. It is too much of a hassle as you said. Watching my mom put the top down in her slk320 makes me so jealous.

The roof mechanism is susceptible to dust since the rear of the car is exposed to some wind buffeting when the car is in motion. I doubt however, that the dust will be detrimental to the roof motor in reasonable amounts of course.

I echo the sentiments of those above. The cover looks great, should be functional, but is an absolute design disgrace. And at $700 MSRP to boot (no pun intended) Honda should be ashamed of themselves.

It looks good when in place, but too much of a pain to use. Also, takes up more trunk space then its worth. Leave it in the garage.

I use it all the time. I can get it on and off in about one minute. I prefer the look with it on.
