Too Tall?

Too Tall?
Question to tall S2000 owners. Im 6'2" and Im thinking about purchasing an S2000. They are incredibly comfortable, and are probably the funest cars I've ever driven, but the question is this: Am I too tall for the car? When I test drove it, I seemed to have enough space, but I never put the top up, and I really dont want my head looking like its coming out of the car. If there are any other owners around my height, could you please help?!!!

I'm 6'2" as well. I've had my s200 since July of this year. No problems at all. You won't look like tall people do when you see them driving a Z3 - it always looks to me like they are sticking way out of the car. Buy the car and have fun.

A friend of mine reviews cars professionally -- and he's 6'9" !
He had the S2K for a week back in May and managed to squeeze in OK...not bad for a roadster. There are plenty of cars he can't fit into.

One thing you'll notice is that you get more "wind in the face" than shorter drivers. I'm 6'1.5", and putting the windows up is almost mandatory if I don't want my head numb after a 20 minute highway drive. The wind buffetting at 70 mph gets fairly annoying with the windows down, and results in a fairly serious ringing in your ears if you go longer than that.
With the top up, the car feels slightly claustrophobic, but it's not outrageous. Depending on your build (I have a 34" inseam), you may be taller in the torso than someone else who's 6'2", which is what causes me to be "taller sitting down" than some other drivers. Likewise, really big feet (I mean, REALLY big... larger than 15's) may pose a problem. My oldest son (14) is almost unable to drive this car (around the block), simply because his size 17's can't work the pedals easily.

another 6'2 driver, 34" inseam, only irritations are what's noted above :
a) head sticks up slightly past windshield, it gets windy up there
b) some stop lights will be blocked by the frame around the window
c) seat squeaks against plastic rear of cabin when pushed all the way back (easily fixed)
i actually think that being of substantial girth (rather than length) is much more a problem in this car. if you're wide of bottom, forget about it.
