Tonneau Cover "fix" from popping up
I've found that my cover constantly pops up...flapping in the wind. Not only irritating, but looks realllly stupid.
So, my fix (I do live in Texas): I placed Zip-Ties on the around the roof while folded to keep it compressed (I keep tie-cutters in the trunk incase of rain (Ya, like that happens in Texas)).
The result: My cover stays on PERFECTLY at over 120+. I'm hoping that keeping it "compressed" like this will relax it and that I can remove the zip-ties in a couple of weeks, who knows.
Anyway, thats my fix.

It should not be a problem at high speeds ... While you should address that with your Honda dealer in regards if there is a problem there. Is it because you did not sit the cover properly folding slightly inwards using the metal flaps as guides? I've tested driving with the cover and high speeds and resulted in not a problem as this but something else.

I am on my second s2000. My first, never had any problems with the boot coming off. Fit snug, and there was never any sign of it coming off, even after weeks of driving with it on. However, on my new one, i have had nothing but trouble with the boot cover. It will pop off within 10 minutes of driving sometimes. I just had the TSB done, and that helped ever so little, it would than last 15-20 minutes without poping up. Thus i had the boot replaced, and i thought that was the fix. As it came folded up from honda, and i put it on right away, and it didnt pop up for the hole day. However, after it settled in, couple days latter after leaving it on, it started poping off left and right. Im wondering if we need to keep it folded for it to stay on better. I have since taken it off and have kept it folded. Im going to try it again today. Anyway, honda needs to do somthing about this boot cover issue, like design a new one. This realy sucks.
