I know that the for B16A engine and B18C engines (Civic Si/Del Sol VTEC, and Integra GSR) you can purchase very good cams with higher lift and duration. Does anybody know if there is anything in the works for the S2000? This would definitely be the mod of choice for NA tuners. I want to keep my car all motor. I think there is a lot to be said about an all motor car.

I'm a JUN dealer and as of now they have no plans for cam development for the S2000. Toda has some being sold either now or very soon, and as far as I know, they are the only option.

I'd personally perfer some jun cams over toda, but unless we could get 50+ car owners to pre-purchase some jun cams I really dont think anyone will see f20c jun cams anytime soon.

From the Japanese catalog I've got, it looks like Spoon has cams, valves, valve springs, pistons, headgaskets, etc... I can try to post a picture later if you want.

you could always get a re-grind for a couple hunred bucks, prolly alot cheaper than new cores/profile. I have had good experience with Crower cams.

About two months ago Toda told me that they would have the cams by year's end, with luck.

No word on pricing but I can tell you is not going to be cheap as these are not regrinds (brand new billet cores grind to Toda's specs).

According to them their prototypes were developing between 12-15 Hp on a JDM car. No word on US-spec cars.

I have heard the same about Toda cams. You can ad Toda cam sprockets to the soon to be released list.

I would honestly prefer Toda over Jun, but the reality is the are more than likely the same. A friend of mine has Toda cams on his Type-R and the difference is amazing.

I do not recommend using regrinds. You payed top dollar for your car, why use cheap regrinds. Honda wasn't cheap when the developed this engine and I am not about to put cheap aftermarket parts on my car.

My two cents.

Wouldn't have a clue... it's all in japanese! (Mingster, are you there? can you help translate?) the pages at my account (ramadap@attglobal.net) in www.photopoint.com are higher resolution and readable....

Prices in yen are:

Cams 48,000 each
headgasket 18,000
pistons 260,000 (don't know if it is each or what)
valves 44,000 (idem)
valve springs 44,000 (idem)

I inquired about the headgasket and they did not recommended me to do it without the rest.
