T1R.... came with the exhaust. No need for an O2 simulator with the EMS.
Duh...well, I'm an idiot

So did you guys try adding timing? What is the timing like now on your logs? The EMS detects knock...so you could just keep bumping it up till you get some and then turn it down 1-2 degrees (if you want to be safe for hotter days)

4300 should be fine for highway driving. IIRC, that's somewhere over 80mph in 6th with stock gears.

No, nice gains up top as well thanks to the testpipe.

As for the 4300 crossover.... highway driving is perfectly fine.... because.. VTEC only engages at 100% throttle at 4300+ RPM's.

....I can ride the low cam all the way to 9k without VTEC engaging....

Ferrell, did you try messing with the timing at all? What were your final A/F ratios?

Ferrell, very nice. Gains I'd like to perhaps have with my own car one day. To get the 4300rpm VTEC crossover to work, was anything required beyond fuel tuning? (I'm wondering if it'd be doable with just a VAFC...)

Correct me if I'm wrong. You gained 13.1whp from Toda header with stock cat-back exhaust vs entire T1R header back exhaust

Awesome gains

Ya, he gained right around there...but most all of the hp gain, which was peak, was from the test pipe...not much at all from the cat-back.

Just proves that cat-back'd don't do a whole lot for the S, but removing the restrictive cat, will.
