Over the weekend, I installed an 8lb Toda Racing flywheel and a prototype ACT clutch setup in the S2k. Click below for the full write up with lots of pics:

Clutch group buy should be coming soon. I'm shipping out the brake pads from the Porterfield buy today, and then I'll have some extra time to work out the details of the ACT group buy.
Rev-looks good.

I am just waiting for my parts to get here. I ordered the Toda Flywheel and Spoon Clutch and Pressure plate. I have a Service manual but I think I am going to let Honda install the new parts when they "fix the grind".
Looks like your job was clean and uneventful. I hope the tech at Honda is as clean and careful as you were.
A couple of questions:
Did you replace the Bearings?
What is all the mess on the side of your block under the header from?

Why do you laugh when you go to my site? Is it because when I had my SC I could keep up with an S2K? Ok yeah that was pretty funny, and sad too.
I don't imply that SOHC is power/powerful or anything, thats just the goal of my site/car. To take the crappy D-series motor and make power if possible. Where did I say SOHC=high performance? I think you glanced too fast and then formed your own conclusion. I like working on things so D-series is the cheapest and easiest way for me to do this.
Anyway, Rev says all the hack marks are from when John G. from Hi-Tech (hy-tech) exhaust put his headers on. thats why it looks like a rabid cat was caught under the hood.

Da Reverend, pretty good sh!t!!!That job seemed to be so tedious and labor intensive but then it probably saved you lots of $ 'cos you didn't have to pay someone to do it...BTW, pretty educational and funny site.

One question, does it seem like the car is easier to stall when leaving a light. When (if)you drive in the wet , you may notice that it will "spin up" the tires faster and slide a little more in the corners.
I did the same mod to a racebike a few years ago and those were some of the things I noticed.
