Default Titanium Surround

I just got my titanium console in and thought I would share the results. It took less than a week to get the pieces from Taka Kaira Inc. in Japan. Outstanding turnaround time! The cost was around $170.00 and the pieces affix to the stock ones via double sided adhesive tape.

The Left one is the stock console carpet
The Middle one is Rick's Console Cover/Boot installed
The Right one is the JDM Titanium Console Pieces installed plus hardtop defrost.

Don't ask me why, but I prefer the OEM version ... Maybe I'm weird but the titanium version doesn't look very blending to me especially around the hazard and soft top controls.

Hmmm, I know what you mean. The 4IG full Ti cover looks a better proposition.

Do you get dash/door components to match?

Yes, I have the fit OEM metallic compliments all round ... Including the doors where the power windows work and the dash where the controls are on both sides.

I was going to get that kit until I took the paint off the trim plate around the shifter. I like the shiny look without the paint better, but wish there was a way to do that to the cup holder cover.
