Tires for winter
I just got my S2000 in August. It is truly a great car for the money. It is a daily driver and I commute about 60 miles a day. I intend to use the car during the up comming NY winter. Any suggestions on snow tires. Should I buy a complete wheel set or just the tires or what?

Philly G,
I live a little farther north in NY. Last winter I used Bridgestone Blizzak MZ-01s. These are very good winter tires, however I was driving at highway speeds more than I expected last winter and these are Q speed rated tires. This winter I have switched to Blizzak LM-22s. These are H rated and I expect them to feel much better for highway use. Many others also recommend the Michelin Alpine Pilots for winter use.Use the search feature on the top of the site page. Search for winter tires. You will find a great deal of information on the subject. It has been dicussed throughly.
