Default Tires for S2000

My odometer just went over 15,000 miles, and I need new rear tires. The current tires are original tires. They are Bridgestone Potenza S-02. Should I buy another set of Potneza? Any recommendations on equivalents to Potenza tires? Thanks.

Depends on how you drive the car, if aggressively then stick with the OEM S02's, if not then you've got lots of different ones to choose from. With 15,000 miles on your first set I think you fall more into the "not" category unless you do an extensive amount of highway driving as well.

In order of personal choice:

1) OEM Bridgeston S02's - Best dry grip, wear quickly, slightly expensive.
2) Kuhmo MX - Cheaper than the S02's and almost as good, slightly better wear.
3) Bridgestone S03's - good wet weather grip but similar wear as the S02.

Take a quick read of this, it relates should you decide to go with something other than the S02s.
