Is this the tires or Diff
Its been 3 weeks since the noise started. Rear tires are 4 months old, front ones need to be changed out. Diff fluid was changed out 1 1/2 month ago using mobil 75-90w gear lub at advanced auto parts. When driving at any speed, can hear like a flat tire noise coming from the car. Seems like its from the rear but cant completely tell. As you drive faster, the noise becomes louder and faster. I dont think its the diff since first it doesnt seem like its leaking any fluid and second, i would think if its the problem it would make a whine noise. Checked the tires for a flat and all of them are fine. Is there anythign else i can check. Should i lift of the rear of the caar and then accelerate to see if I hear it better. Thanks for any advise

I'd check each rear tire to see if you have a nail or something in the tire. Had the same thing with my wifes car and it was a nail. It actually kept the hole plugged, so the tire didn't go flat.
Take each rear tire off and check closely.
I agree, it doesn't sound like the diff. My diff went after wrong fluid put in and it whined like crazy.
Good luck.

thanks for the advise, Ill check to see if I have a nail today and hopefully I find one,. Would hate for it to be the diff, but from other post and what i read, they mainly whine like crazy or just fail in general with metal clunks.
