what's the problem? uneven? if so, get an alignment done.

Toe is the biggest culprit in tire wear. You need extreme camber to start seeing effects from this (over 2 degrees for street tires).

Air pressures are essential too.

I wear the mini-spare because the full sized ones hurt my back after awhile.
