Let me begin by saying I am an enthusiast, that one day hope to own (unfortunately it won't be anytime soon).

I have to agree with all those who have given you advice to check with another dealer, contact Honda or contact the regional Honda rep. All the banter between you and JRM will do absolutely nothing to solve your initial complaint - the noise from your clutch/tranny. Have you attempted to do any of the 3 suggestions? If so, please update us with the results.
We can tell JRM is an owner if you look under his name on the left with the little blurb about who members are. Under your name (and mine, as admitted above) it says enthusiast.
Just thought I'd put my 2 cents in.

JRM,
If you look at my status you'll notice the change.. I hope that finally shuts you up..
As for contacting Honda directly I did ask the regional rep to send me a letter on why they will not fix this problem (the last time that I took my s2k to get serviced)..

Guys,
I would like to officially kill this thread.. thanks for the advice, I did call a "regional service rep" and asked him to give me in writing the reasons for what I feel are flaws that should be fixed. Whether this "regional service rep" represents HONDA, or the HONDA dealerships I dont know (That is why I said no when asked if I contacted Honda directly). Frankly its my opinion that no owner should have to go through that much hassle to get Honda to honor their warranty. Anyways thanks for the help and please let this one die... no hard feelings.
