This isn't a thread for you opinion about whether or not to get tint, its about how much to get if I decide to get it. Pointless post is pointless.

Yea i tinted the whole front 30% on my last car and 20% all around. It looked great. However, as soon as i drove out of Gainesville i got a ticket for the front window and then 3 weeks later when i drove to Miami i got a ticket for EVERY SINGLE WINDOW that had tint on it. This is including my tinted license plate cover. Also got a ticket for the front tint being under the tinting line.

SO

Unless you have the cash for the fines, get the legal limit, i think its 35% in florida.

I'm guessing you missed this?:

[QUOTE=TerminatioN,Dec 11 2008, 10:25 AM]Don't worry about the legal aspects please. I'm getting a medical exemption. Yes, I have a legitimate problem. Not lupus or anything, but my eyes are extremely sensitive to light. At night the lights of oncoming and even cars behind me hurt me eyes.

Here is the official law allowing this:

What about the back window? Ever have any problems at night?
I'm guessing the front doesn't have any on it, right?
The back is the same, 5%. At night backing is a little hard sometimes, if im parallel parking i put the window down to see the mirror better. Its a trade off, im still thinking about getting a second layer on the windows. Front doesnt have any, i dontlike the look of just a stripe on the top or anything and the shop I went to was hesitant to do the whole front without a compelling reason like a doctors note or something....haha.

lmao! I find myself putting the top down sometimes just to back up at night in parking lots etc....and I'm a damn good driver. Keep in mind I'm still getting used to the car though.

I went with the legal limit in NC which is 30%. It really helps in keeping the sun from baking the interior. IMO it isn't hard to see out at night either. I don't have any tint on the windshield but am thinking I wouldn't mind getting the strip across the top.
