I just found the source of the noise... it was the black screw at the back of the car...i just removed it as the other part of it was missing (that was why it was loose)... just wondering if any of you has had the same problem and whether or not it is important to have that screw on... as it looks like its just for decoration purposes...

please help if u know!!!

I was going to suggest that you had a new top put on and they did not remove the drilled out rivets from the old one. Common problem.

This noise just started in my car, where is this screw you speak of? Back of the car is pretty broad. Do you have any pics?

Yep, u really have to stick your head in there to be able to see it... ull see that there are 2 round black screws... if there is a rattling sound when you turn, one of the screw is loose... simply tighten it from the back (hard to get ur hands in there) or pull it out all together.

Now that there is no sound (as ive taken them out)... just wondering why those screws were there in the first place as it seems like its just there to fill up the hole~_~

I'm guessing you mean the pin that holds the trunk liner together in front of the spare tire? Mine was in with my tool kit and it took me a minute to figure out where it came from.

nope... there are 2 screws (one on the left and one on the right... there are 2 parts to the screw and your supposed to stick it in from the inside of the car then go to ur boot and screw the other part in.

sounds confusing but there are only 2 screws at the back of the car and youll see it if you stick ur head in it.
