Default Timing belt or timing chain?

Is the S2000 engine with a timing belt, or a timing chain? Also, can someone please tell me the engine codes for these cars?

Thanks

No way are you serious? I was nearly positive the S2000 would have a timing belt.

Timing chain and the engine code is F20C for the 00-03's and I think F22C for the 04's but I may be wrong on that.

Thanks guys. I'm kind of new in the Honda world and coming from BMW I didn't think many other manufacturers put in timing chains instead of belts.

I've seen too many timing chains in the past 6 months on f20c
So, yes dut is correct!

Yeah, my POS 1.4 carbureted Nissan Sunny from 1991 has double timing chains!

Friend of mine has a 93 BMW 318 'vert that did not... snapped last year. Messy.
