lol how will this help me, my decision was on tein already. n i think im geting a good deal on it so far. its really cheap considering the prices ive heard. have u had tein's? i was thinking of gc or comptech coilovers, but i think i just want one piece out of the box. i really had trying to piece things together. ive had so much trouble w/ my quick release, seat rails, koni yellows.

we all know how drilling to those with koni yellows.

i have the flex, and i rationed the edfc completely useless for myself. id install, adjust, drive, adjust, drive, adjust... then never touch the settings again. also, so far, no squeeks, rattles, or any noises whatsoever.

IMO, the 12k rear spring rate is too stiff. i feel that a nice street spring rate would be 8k. if you were to put an 8k spring on the flex rear, then teinusa claims that the damper will need to be revalved.

if i were to do it all over again, i would pickup a zeal system. its a good quality coilover with (what i feel) appropriate spring rates for the street. the only reason why i bought the flex was because of the pressure due to a closing GB with a great price.

another thing to consider is damper rebuilding price. i know the flex can be rebuilt at tein usa for $100/corner. however, the tein ra has to be rebuilt in japan, which comes out to ~$200/corner i believe (due to shipping to and from japan) i dont know if BC can be rebuilt stateside nor the price, and the same goes with zeal.

also remember the flex dampers are a dual-tube design, while BC is monotube. for 100% street, this really doesnt matter, but if you're interested, run a search on monotube and you'll find some interesting things.

good luck!

nevermind i found this,

Momotube -

Better heat disipation because there is a larger oil reservoir. Won't heat up as quick, ie during track use

Piston shaft is larger diameter, more prescise

The oil and nitrogen never mix

Twin Tube-

The oil and nitrogen mix and sometimes you can hear a squishy sound

I bought teins because they can be rebuilt for a cheap price, that really swayed me into getting them. I would of gone with the Zeal function B6 for street but I wasnt too sure if I could get them rebuilt here in the states.

So all in all - generally speaking???

The Buddyclub is a little more track friendly than the Tein Flexes, but have a harsher ride.

The Flexes offer up a EDFC option, but you can basically forget about having any sort of edge on a track - would this really make that much of a difference on a sub 1 minute AutoX course?

Neither one is going to give you the softness of stock.....

Is that about it?
