This is only for much older cars w/ "throttle body injection" where the injectors were part of the tb.

i think edelbrock spacer is more a function of making their TB fit correctly. i did not see where it said s2000 specifically, just Acura/Honda. not sure if any of us have gone and bought one of these, most people have the Spoon or Proflow TB.

Bringing out the dead.
Found this TB spacer link and thought I would toss it into the topic.

Not to be a nay-sayer, but I dont see 8 hp, 10 ft-lbs, and 3mpg coming from that on our cars.

Cool find tho

Unless your fuel is injected before the spacer, having more plenum space is only going to increase the lag in the velocity of the air charge when going from zero to WOT on the throttle.

If you want your air/fuel mixture to atomize better with the stock manifold, plug your injector ports and re-drill them further up the runners...of course, Honda would have done this for you if they thought it would help. Having the injectors as close to the valves as possible makes for the smoothest idle possible, something car manufacturers have much interest in. If you're really intent on picking up throttle response, get a set of individual throttle bodies. You can't top that for throttle response or air fuel atomization, period.

The reason why most say you need the injectors as close to the cylinders as possible is because if they are higher up the runners you risk fuel from one plug making it into the plenum and down a different runner screwing up the mixture.

I think the spacer is a joke btw, just thought I would share the link
