I put my deposit down 38 months ago, but I didn't take delivery until 34 months ago. I'm just as thrilled with mine today as I was the very first day. Yes, I do have more than 600 miles on it too.

Happy birthday! It has been quite a while.. I normally don't keep cars this long!

I think I started calling looking for an advance contract just over four years ago (and posting on the old board) and took delivery in October '99, so it will be four years for me this fall.

Congrats, guys! I hope I speak for everyone when I say I'm glad you guys are still sharing the experience with us!

I've had mine a little over a year, but I suspect three will "roll around" in no time.

My three years came up last month when I passed 32,000 miles. Not one problem and never been back to the dealer. Averaged 26.2 mpg for first 15,000 miles and 27.1 for next 15,000, mostly on rural mountain roads. Nothing like it on the twisties. Still on original brake pads. Only the tires have been replaced. Total maintenance and repairs to date: $188.14 (not including tires, but including 30k service. I love this car!

October 24, 1999 - took delivery. Didn't sleep for about 4 nights.

Just passed 33,000 miles. The only non-routine maintenance has been TSB's for decel, grind, sparkplugs and (hopefully) driver's window regulator. Car's at the dealer today and being out of warranty, I don't know if they will cover the window reg.

Been a great 3 years 8 months 2 weeks 6 days 3 hours and 17 minutes

Reassuring and great to hear all these success stories.
I've had mine for only 5 months; had other sports cars in the past, (some of them seriously fast too) but NONE like this one.
This car tickles me in ways no other car has done before. It really is a much more "visceral" experience.
In this day and age, very few cars have this characteristic.
Cheers,
Daniel (Who just had another "religious" experience with the S last night, driving close to midnight, on the old panamericana highway in northern Mexico. A nearly empty 2 lane road with some fast 90-100MPH sweepers, middle of the desert, full moon, top down, NO cops and good music....It DOES NOT get any better than that guys.)
