Thumbs up To those with 66+ Throttle Body

Okay guys, I am at the point where I want to experiment with the throttle body. Those who have done the mod, is it really worth it??

I know the 66mm is probably the largest size to go, so as to maintain engine air intake speed constant for NA applications. I am torn between these:

Proflow 70/64.24
Ericks 68/66 (Intake manifold port matching required)
Ericks 70/68 (Intake manifold port matching required)

I know some board members have gone 70 (inner dia.) and larger, and that gains will only be noticeable with other engine mods.

So again, is it really worth it???

i am running a 70mm outer and 66mm inner diameter throttle body...u will only feel difference if u have enuf air comin in and enuf air goin out...basically depending on what type of intake and exhaust your running..to me i think if your running stock parts having the throttle body too big will just make u lose power ...thats just my assumption tho..well just read my review and i hope this helps ya...
s2kboy03's review on J's racing parts check this review and i hope this helps your answers

With the 66mm TB, you will not notice a big change in peak hp but you will notice a much more mid-range and acceleration. I have installed a few of the Erick's Racing TB to the S2000 and the only issue was, it has idling problem cuz the idle it fluactuates a lot.

As you know, Proflow also makes a 70/64 TB. However they told me dont make a 70/66 TB because the metal in the stock housing will run extremely thin foe a 66 application. Is this an issue with the on that J's offer?

i think what ben meant was thats the only issue he experienced with the j's 70/66 mm tb...is if not port matched properly will get ruff idle and sometimes maybe tend to stall....but other than that its fine
