thinking of an s2k daily

I daily drive mine was well. And love it. I get great freeway mileage, if I keep foot out of it some what. Just watch out for dips in the road and you will be fine. I drive down town, and there are some nasty ones. And I'm not lowered. At times I do wish there was more trunk space, but the cars a blast and makes up for it.

I DD mine. Depending on where you live, it can be easy/difficult as far as weather is concerned. I live in Southern California so it' sunny 90% of the time. Only drawback really is no space to carry if anything if you need to transport a large quantity of stuff. I'm 6' and fit inside easily; getting in and out can get a bit tiresome at first, but you'll get used to it.
Good luck!

That must be a joke! S2k can be a good DD. But for pizza delivering, as you have to constantly get in and out of the car, it is surely not recommended.
Also, I prefer the OEM smell of leather to the junk food smell of fat and humidity!

I daily my car, probably 500+ miles a week. That and the miles I put on it in the weekends from autocrossing.

If you rarely carry both a passenger AND cargo at the same time then an S2000 can be a reasonable daily driven car.
If you have a short commute with little sitting in traffic, then an s2000 is fun and affordable as a daily driver. I would not want to drive an S2000 on an hour long commute to work in heavy traffic...simply takes the joy out of it and wears out a car made for fun in a mundane commute.
I drive my S2000 to work anytime it is not raining or cold and I'm not on my motorcycle.
If you are going shopping for anything but a few essentials...the small trunk is annoying.

Another daily driver here.
No problems in any kind of weather - as long as you have the right tire - with enough profile depth - for the time of year.
IOW: get summer & winter tires.
The fuel tank is not that big and it uses a fair amout of fuel so if you drive a lot every day its costly and you have to fuel-up a lot.
Don't forget you "have" to get the RON98 fuel, like BP Ultimate - that's the only RON98 available in the Netherlands nowadays.
Shell V-Power overhere is RON97, as far a I know.
In Germany there is V-Power 100, that's good stuff.
Dropping the top when the sun comes out makes it all worthwhile.. well.. almost.
