Thinking of repainting the Suzuka

Thinking of repainting the Suzuka
Hey guys,
So I've been toying with the idea of repainting the exterior of my car. Later this summer, I need to respray my front bumper, possibly fenders/hood, soon due to rock chips. This got me thinking...
Do you think painting just the exterior/door jambs, and leaving the engine baySuzuka, would look horrible? Obviously it would look funny, but I think Suzuka is close enough to these colors that it wouldn't look horrible.
So exterior would be something like one of these colors...
Laguna Seca blue
Apex Blue
Nogaro Blue
Monterey Blue from the 370z. This might work best because it's a metallic
Do you think it would look really poor if the engine bay/door jambs were still Suzuka?
Thanks

Estoril blue is probably the best option. Basically a darker metallic than Suzuka.
And I'm realizing that painting the door jambs probably won't be much more work/$$$. I'd def be leaving the enging bay though.

Repainting a rare color like Suzuka to other available colors like Apex or LBP will be big monetary loss. If its all for you, do what you want, but I'm not sure there are many buyers for a respray like that.

I would probably keep it Suzuka, but it seems like Suzuka is a love it or hate it color (I'm in the love it). I think it would look funny if you didn't get the engine bay and door jams, but not so much that it should really discourage you if you really want the color change.
If you haven't seen Apex Blue in person (many haven't as there's only like 200 of them), definitely look at it first. Shows up really light in most pictures and it has a really cool pearl to it.

You could try a custom color. Maybe along the same lines as Suzuka but just a tint darker. You know how suzuka looks almost silver in florescent light? Maybe more of that. That way you can get a bit more unique and it will still match the engine bay and door jams (for the most part).
