It's pretty clear that you should just keep the S.

Can you swing a little more? Get the new 135i. Chip it and beat M3s.

Legacy 2.5GT, turbo sweetness wrapped up in a clean package. Also, do yourself a favor and try and find an 04 VW R32 to test drive. I was originally a volkswagen hater until I drove this car. The leather and fit and finish of the interior along with the heated seats make it a really luxurious car from the drivers perspective. The exhaust note, torque and AWD make it a blast to drive too!

Buddy of mine got the same, white 5-speed wagon. Chipped. Total sleeper. Excellent suggestion!

dont be offended if u just choose to b ignorant, and o look i can do this too!
Assumptions. Let's see, from my postings, I've considered TTL, doc fees, destination fees, dealer fees, accessories, potential market rates concerning depreciation, actual data from Kelly Blue Book. I hardly consider that ignorance, little buddy!
I can buy a 1973 Pinto with a blown engine for the same price as a new Veyron if I'd like. Anything is possible, yup, sure is. Point is, G35 is not a $42K car. Learn to type, learn to spell.

I with this infantile diatribe. Another suggestion I might have, should you want to drive an automatic, is a 1st generation M45. Those are trading hands somewhere in the mid-low-20s. Great value, used. Granted, the looks are a bit polarizing, but a black 03-04 M45 would look positively sinister!

You two need to hug.

I second the Legacy. AWD Turbo FTW.

I've had 2 E-36 ('92-'99) BMW's and they were good to have. Great traction control, somewhat small, smooth motor, great shifter, and very good "handling."

First off, I think the OP is looking at a Sedan. Second of all--$42K for a G35 coupe? Mine was $39K with Navi, Premium, everything. No way. Third of all, feature set is there. Bluetooth was available starting in 2005, and Rear-active steer. Intelligent Key, more power than TL, RWD, Bose, rear-reclining seats--I don't think you can GET more features at that price. Sorry. Honda/Acura "fAn boI" bias need not apply here.
Actually, i'm not a fan of the TL either. And yes, my coupe' did have a sticker approaching 42. I had a 6sp, premium, navi, aero, keyless, and satelite radio vehicle with a dealer installed clear bra.

The car was an utter train wreck in both the quality and performance departments. Thank goodness it was a year lease that I could rip to hell and not feel bad about it!
