There's something about the S2000....
....I don't know what it is, but :
I picked up my S2000 from the dealer this past Monday. Drove it the long way home; put glorious top-down miles on her, and now she's been sitting in the garage waiting for good weather (nothing but rain & snow since). This morning, as I was driving to work (in my old friend the '92 Prelude Si) I found myself with a case of the old 'PermaGrin'! Even sitting miles away from me, covered in her blanket in the garage, she still has this effect on me.
Do you feel it?

I feel it alright......
And I haven't even got my car yet. Should be next week though.
I was luck enough to test drive one for over 1 hour all by myself before I bought mine which is why it's been so hard to wait..
Loved the top down pics you've added.

...Felt it tonight (well, actually last night, as I'm posting this at 12:35 in the morning). It was around 60 in the DC area and the air smelled like spring -- I dropped the top, cranked some Rush on the stereo and hit the Beltway.
The car's magic, no doubt about it.

Hey WhataRide,
Seeing as how Helios is the ancient Greek sun god, I'd say it was the other way around!
But as we're all one in the brother- and sisterhood of the S2K, I won't call down the heavy artillery from Mount Olympus.

I have felt that way since last May when I picked her up. Now I can only look at her in the garage while the snow falls outside. Your "Jones" is worse than mine though since I had mine for last summer and yours is brand new. Can't wait until spring hits us.Then .

Yes, I still feel it after nearly 2 and a half years of ownership. I'm lucky enough to live out in southern california so I'm able to drive it top down almost year round. The weather today is absolutely gorgeous (high 80's).
Good choice on the second car. I also have a Prelude Si (1993) as my second car.
