Apexi V-AFC, check the group buy forums and you should be able to pick one up for around $300.

You are correct sir but after much testing (by me and Pepe will corroborate this) 5600 RPM's is the ideal spot for engagment. Any lowe and you will experience bog.

Use the OEM VTEC RPM Point, it's probably no doubt the best. Having an earlier VTEC cut in won't give you a significant performance increase, somewhat even slower if your Apexi V-AFC is not tuned accordingly and correctly. Alot of Apexi V-AFC owners aren't aware of this. No doubt, if you want performance ... Leave the VTEC cut in point alone and start working on the intake or exhaust system first.

We were talking about having it dyno tuned in which case there is a performance benefit to having VTEC engage at 5600 RPMS. The VTEC transition is smoother and surge comes sooner.
