There goes the Amuse Lip..
Last night I was driving up a very small driveway and bottomed out like you wouldn't believe. Then I started hearing something hitting almost everything underneath my car. I was thinking to myself "Oohh crap.. There must be a huge ice chunk or something that I am running over." --> Since it snowed big time lately and it isn't all gone yet. Anyway, I pull up to one of those 'was your own car' washes and got out of my car. I walked over to the front and there it was.. Or wasn't I might say. 1/4 of my Amuse lip is gone. I was like WTF?? I walked over to the curb and there it was. Completely ripped off my car. Oh well, I guess it is time to paint my J's racing lip and get it on there ASAP. That sucks.. I will post pictures of the lip when I get a chance. It is pretty funny.

Dude, that sucks. They ain't cheap.
I don't mean any offense, I really want to know:
I live in a neighborhood that has a lot of big "dips", steep hills, and many other places to easily bottom out even a stock S2000. I won't get a front lip or other bottom of car aero mods because I know I would wreck them sooner or later (probably sooner).
If you live in an area that gets snow, I would imagine that's a pretty big hazard to the underside of an already low car. I remember, growng up in Chicago, having to "plow through" snow mounds not infrequently.
So, I guess my question ifor people with lips and such is this:
Do you just accept the risk of wrecking your new mod, and live with it, or do you really expect to not damage it, even in winter?
Do you have to avoid some parking lots, roads, etc, because you know they have a hazard your lip or pther mod won't survive?
Wait, that's two questions.
Thanks,

Two words for ya...... FIBERGLASS SUCKS! Get Urethane next time.
I live in NYC, and scrape 15 times a day. Not one problem with the lip (except for missing paint, but you cant see it at all)
Sorry for your loss bro.
